Community guidelines

What we expect

• Argue with a reading, not with a person. Strong opinions are the point; contempt is not.
• Respect stated boundaries and dealbreakers the first time.
• No harassment, hate speech, sexual content sent without consent, or pressure of any kind.
• Be honest about who you are. No impersonation, no misrepresenting your age.
• My Plot Twist is for people aged 16 and over. Adults must not pursue romantic contact with minors; profiles under 18 are limited to friendship matching.

Reporting and blocking

Every profile and conversation has a report and block control. Blocking is immediate and mutual: you disappear from each other's discovery, matches and messages. Reports go to a human moderator.

Meeting offline

• Meet somewhere public the first time — a café or a bookshop is ideal.
• Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to be back.
• Arrange your own transport there and back.
• You never owe anyone a second meeting, an explanation or a reply.
