Placeholder notice for the prototype. It describes how the product is actually built, but it is not legal advice and must be reviewed before launch.
What is public on your profile
Display name, age, general location (city or region only), whether you are here for dating or friendship, your biography, chosen photo or illustration, your public books, genres, themes, reading-personality summary, the literary answers you chose to share, your current read, ideal first meeting and non-book interests.
What is never shown publicly
Your email address, your exact location or address, your private boundaries and dealbreakers, internal safety records, and any book you marked as private.
Location
We only ask for a city or region. We never request or store a precise home address, and distance filtering is approximate by design.
Messages
Messages are visible to you and the person you matched with. Administrators cannot read message content in this product. Access would only ever occur where legally required, and it would be disclosed.
Your controls
In Settings and privacy you can hide your profile, deactivate your account, request a copy of your data, manage consent, and permanently delete your profile and everything attached to it.
